Warwick Dunford It is with regret that we have been informed that Warwick passed away last night (4th February). Joyce, his wife and daughter Rosemary were with him. 12 Hour Course Change This Saturday evening the 12 Hour course has had to be altered due to road works at Sugar Loaf (Ashford Road nr Ham Street). Riders will now Turn at Park Farm RAB and NOT go down through Kingsnorth to Sugar Loaf and back up the A2070. The finishing circuit will now use the A28 and will be, Brissenden Oak; Shirkoak; Shadoxhurst; Stubbs Cross; Newstreet Farm; Brissenden Oak. Esther Posted date: 2011-09-03

Wigmore Hill Climb 2 October - KCA Championship The Hill Climb Season is almost upon us once again. Never ridden one? Great fun and an occasion for friendships to be renewed. Atmosphere surrounding such events is really great. This event went on the road way back in 1976 and for the next 35 years it was "my baby". Over the years it has developed into one of the best supported climbs of its kind in the country.. An interesting prize list too. Last year the event attracted a record entry of 76 riders. The 6th best supported of over 50 such events held Nationally. On its way it has been helped by taking on board the Kent CA Championship, with so far 10 clubs adopting the event for their very own Domestic Championship. This year there is a change. I have handed over the reins to Martin Trice. An eager beaver wishing to continue to maintain the popularity of the event and maybe take it to another level. Martin will welcome the continued support of those that regularly ride this event and hopefully many more that would like to join in the fun. As I have been the keeper of an associated address book Martin has asked me to circulate the very generous Prospectus for this event. Please give him all the support you can with an entry. If it is not your scene, then he would be grateful if you could pass the word around among your club folk.
